Tunisian baccalaureate: enrolling in a bachelor's degree in Italy
348 official 2026/2027 bachelor's degrees at 58 universities, 214 with open access: what the Tunisian bac is worth and how to apply.
The Tunisian bac is enough
For a bachelor's degree (Laurea, 3 years), Italy requires a secondary-school diploma obtained after at least twelve years of schooling: the Tunisian baccalaureate qualifies. Each university then assesses your file itself and sets its own application dates.
348 bachelor's degrees, 214 without an entrance test
Our 2026/2027 catalogue lists 348 official bachelor's degrees at 58 universities. 214 have open access: admission is based on your file. The other 134 require a test or a selection set by the university. The catalogue shows the type of access for each programme.
In Italian or in English
Most bachelor's degrees are taught in Italian, usually with a B2 level required. About 75 are in English or bilingual: see our guide "Studying in Italy in English".
The documents to prepare
Your bac diploma and transcripts, translated into Italian and legalised, then the declaration of value or the CIMEA statements for the visa. Our guide on the declaration of value and CIMEA statements explains the difference.
